is there laminate trim for next to stairs?

I have been asked to put down laminate in a hallway by a relative. She has stairs which have a strip of carpet up the middle, so the edges are plain wood, including the bottom, bull-nosed stair.

I am quite capable of cutting the laminate to a nice matching curve next to the bottom stair. My question is, how to finish off the laminate next to the bare wood on the vertical surface of this bottom stair? In my own hallway, it was easy as the entire width of the stair is carpeted, so I could lose the view of the edge of the flooring within the pile of the carpet.

Can I butt it up to the stair, allowing any movement by leaving a generous gap at the other end of the floor?

I will be using beading on all other seams as she wont let me take off the skirtings, but I have never noticed bendy beading (at least, not bendy enough to get round the bullnose)

Never tried it, but could you cut lots of slits/grooves into & across the rear of the beading to help it curve?
Also, is the vertical bull nose a piece of ply that could be trimmed at the bottom to allow the laminate to slip under it?
Take care -by the way-with cutting the curve on the laminate, as you need to consider its position when the clic-loc is actioned.
