Is this a sign subsidence?

I've popped into Paddy Power and put £1.50 @ 4/1 on it being the cill expansion.

Brickwork above the crack at the left of the frame looks like it moved up rather than that to the right moved down.

Re-bar is like the little old Chinese man in the films. Looks like he has no strength to hurt a fly, but ......
 
Don't take his shovel away! He'll have to take up smoking to give him something to do with his hands.

I once made a cuppa in a customer's house, next to the kettle was what I thought was flakes of sugar in a small pot. Nah, they were flakes of washing "powder". Mind you, I once had an American customer in Notting Hill who, on day 1, insisted on showing me how to use a bog standard electric kettle ("you lift the lid to fill it and then push down this button"). At the time, I hadn't realised that many Americans didn't know that you can use kettles that do not need to be heated on a hob.
