Is this a solution to an expansion vessel

You could have a section of 22mm pipe to make up the expansion volume if you can't be ar**ed to fit an expansion vessel.

You don't need an Ariston branded one. An expansion vessel is an expansion vessel. I personally bought one just a few weeks ago for £20, hence why I know how much they cost! A 2ltr expansion vessel also weighs naff all and doesn't really need a mounting bracket if your pipework is properly supported in the first place. All you need is a 15mm x 15mm x 1/2 BSP T-piece.

It'll weigh 2.3kG when it fails Stormer.... a little something to support it might be wise ;).

But then I'm such a rude barsteward this advice is not worthy of reading.

In THAT spirit..... "pipe radiator":LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL:

I know how much it'll weigh Dan :p but still think 2.3kg is well within the realms of being supported by pipe clips. Personally I just extended mine down a bit and rested it on the floor (schraeder still accessible).

"Pipe radiator" did get a chuckle out of me too!
