I have a spur in my house where the cable runs from a socket... Inside some plastic trunking... Then enters a surface mounted box.

1. Is this allowed.
2. If it is allowed should there be some protection to prevent cables being pulled out..... And what kind of protection

Thanks

Why wouldn't it be allowed?

How would the cable be pulled out, if it's inside some plastic trunking?

I'm assuming we aren't talking about exposed flex here.

I don't know why it wouldn't be allowed. It just feels wrong. Like a child could come rip the trunking off the wall or something

You see that type of installation in schools quite often, and yes the little cherubs do like to pull, smash and kick anything in sight, pays for my holidays
