We have a heating system which consists of boiler and hot and cold water tanks. Been working fine for a month now (moved in to new place month ago) and then this morning wake up and only luke warm water coming out of hot tap. Pressure fine on both hot and cold taps but just doesn't get hot. No matter which tap i use. Shower is the same (not an electric shower). Is this an airlock, or is it not because water is actually coming out of the tap?

Thanks

Well its not an airlock, as you are getting water.
Im not a heating expert
Does the boiler fire up
how long does it stay on.
Now that Ive bumped your post, give it a while then come back with your boiler details, as the boys will be asking.

Does the boiler fire up?

Has the pilot (if fitted) gone out?

Could be a faulty pump - run the heating and see if the rads heat up.

Could be lack of water in the heating system - check the small feed tank is not empty.

Could be air in the cylinder coil - look for an air vent near the cylinder pipework from the boiler.

Post more details.
