Is this artex?

Hi all, I've just bought a new house. There is artex in the downstairs toilet but iv now just noticed that the finish on the bedroom walls is not smooth, I'm wondering if this is artex (or artex that has been plastered over). My main concern is the potential asbestos in it since I'm likely to disturb it with putting up shelfs etc. Sorry for the bad pictures, I don't know how much you can tell from them but I'm hoping a trained eye will know more than me about this stuff

Stick a pin in one of the high points and see if its solid or hollow, hollow = wallpaper, solid=some kind of textured finish.
