Hi all
I'm ripping out an en-suite bathroom in a victorian house and while removing the tiles, some of the material behind them came away with them.
It is a fairly powdery white material sandwiched between what looks like brown paper.
Could this be asbestos or is it just plain old Gypsum?
Secondly, what would be the best way to fill these holes - will plaster filler take to the paper OK?
The advice of folk much more knowledgeable about these things would be most appreciated!
Thanks
