I live a new property (built early 2020). Ever since I’ve lived here I’ve noticed grey polystyrene balls loose in my electricity meter box. I didn’t know what these were until I recently found out they are put into cavity walls for insulation.
So I guess my main question is, has this box not been sealed correctly?I assume I shouldn’t have these within the box!
I’ll attach a picture. Should I get the builder back to correct this or can I just seal it myself with tape? I can see the balls within the hole from the large black wire to the right. See hole I’ve circled red
