hi so my whole house is being re-plastered at the moment and some areas have been dot and dabbed

this area in my kitchen was plastered 4 days ago and as you can see the plaster is pretty much dry but there are still marks where the dabs were placed, is this the normal drying process when dot and dabbing?

Yes, those bits will be picking up more cold from the blockwork behind.

From looking at the dots left, it seems they have not run a continuous bead of adhesive at the top, as required?

Thanks for the reply, hopefully they will dissapear after some more drying time then,

There hasnt been a continuous bead put behind any of the boards, just dabs
