I tiled my kitchen floor about 6months ago. Recently something heavy fell on the tile and it cracked. Surprisingly the adhesive underneath was still wet becausr it oozed out through the crack. I am planning on re-tiling a few of the tiles. Any suggestions?

(1) Is it still wet, because I used cheap adhesive/grout?

(2) The kitchen floor was originally concrete. Has the coldness of the floor prevented the adhesive from drying. If so, how can I overcome this?

I dare say that the incorrect adhesive has been used. I'll hazard a guess and say you've used a ready mixed floor adhesive. Need to know what type of tile it is before advising what sort of adhesive will sort it out (ie. ceramic/porcelain).

The only problem is that all the other tiles are likely to be suffering the same problem and may lift in time.

I used the correct adhesive, but it was a ready-mix one though.
