Is this okay ?

Hello, I had to change a plug on a extension cable and noticed that that a couple of wires in the live had broke, is this still okay I'm I over thinking this

Those are call strands.

It's okay.

Just insert the wire properly into the new terminal and tighten it up appropriately.

Looks like a damaged crimp, cut back to stranded wire, remake the connection and tighten up.

Strands! thanks, okay this is it already in, dose it not look in enough? I have it flush the ither end of the terminal, thought that's best way?

If you think it’s in enough then it should be ok, it doesn’t look it imo.

Okay thank you, I'm I right I think the the crimp shouldn't stick out the other end off the terminal
