The book of words says leave 30cm gap @ the top of the boiler, I'm just unsure if thats just so as ya can physically fit the flue, or it means the flue must not me covered (As ya can fit boilers in cupboards it makes this a grey area for me) ......

I've installed a boiler like that. Providing adequate clearances for maintenance are available and there is reasonable access (hatch?) to inspect the flue then I can't see a problem. Of course there must be 25mm clearance from flue to combustible material.
