Hi

Can you please advise if the wall running down the centre of the property on the ground floor would be a load bearing wall on a timber framed house?
A door that led feom the kitchen to hall has been covered up and an alternative double door entrance tonthe dining room.created. The owners say no building regs reqd as non load bearing? Thanks
Attached is floor plan

At 7m wide, your floor joists would need to be in the realms of 450mm deep in order for that central spine wall not to be load bearing.

My guess is it is loadbearing. (y)

You have to assume load bearing, but framing out new openings is straightforward enough.

BR? Strictly required but for a simple door most peeps wouldn't bother

There might be a trimmer across the hallway at the top of the stairs?
