Is this window costing me energy. Worth a blind?

I have a hallway window which we like. Nice feature of house. However when I’m putting a heat gun around the frame and window, it’s about 11-13 degrees. 15 degrees within 40cm of window and the rest of hallway is about 17.

The hallway is 17 degrees. The window is 125x180cm. So quite large.

I want to avoid it (as I like the window as is)but should I really be installing a blind to save energy?

Can't see a blind saving you any energy. Is the window single glazed, if so, perhaps explore some type of secondary glazing.

The window is just a big hole in the wall. The more you block up that hole, the less energy you lose through it. If you put all the bricks back, your window will be at 17C.
