If the problem is due to the air pollution caused by smoke, then it would be all the same effect whether wood burning was done by the indoor wood burners or outdoor wood burners in the gardens or fields.

The point is the reality that the great amount of wood stoves having been installed in UK residential homes with high costs since the hike of fuel and energy costs, and the wood burners for sale on Amazon, eBay and other online dealers right now, it is a bit difficult to imagine how wood burning would be illegal at all.

You don't need to imagine it, look at the official guidance for an explanation of when it is likely to be a nuisance.
But really, in this day and age, I cannot see why burning solid fuel for heating is legal at all. It's 2024, not 1924.

Not the same at all , burning garden waste or scrap timber is more harmful than burning kiln dried timber in a wood stove designed to burn efficiently .

Half the planet still burns timber for heat and cooking .

If more harmful is the criteria for being illegal, then exhaust fumes from the motor cars are definitely million and billion times more harmful than smoke from all the wood burners in the whole world. Why are they not making driving the motor cars illegal then? What about the factories and electric power generating plants still operating on burning fossil fuels?

What about all the passenger jet planes taking off every minute in the aiports? They must be burning billions of times of fuel than anything in the world polluting the universe with much effect. Why not ban them all, and make them illegal?

Half the planet [if not more] probably still s***s outdoors, but that's not exactly a great standard to hold a society to, is it?
The ****ting outdoors will be better for the environment than ****ting indoors and flushing it down the drains to a sewage works (with clean drinking water)

You missed the news about stopping diesel/petrol car production then?

Many people doubt if it will be actually materialised. Many also believe that lithium electric car batteries will do more environmental damage than anything ever produced in the history of human civilisation in the long run. You seem to have missed all these news and articles.
