my central heating boiler control panel just stopped working today. after checking mains power going into the boiler was fine i took out the small fuse in front of the p.c.b. it was fine. i then pulled out the spade connections directly above the fuse and reconected. i switched the mains back on and hey prestro it fired up and seems to be working fine. its only just over a year old. so has anyone got any idea why this happend. i would be very gratefull for any comments.

Could just be a faulty connection on the user display interface.

There should be a purple wiring harness from the main pcb to the display unit.

Check the connections for any signs of corrosion or damage.

HI.

thanks for you response. i think it was this harness you mention that i pulled out and reconected.[ maybe just a bad connection]. but i was worried it was a sign something more serious was going on.

its fantastic to get a resonse from people who know what there talking about. cheers again. gs86
