Hi, My sons shower will not turn off, its located in the main bedroom of a barrett house built in 2002.
It is a Hydramax (aqualisa) model and he has been told he needs a new cartridge.
Problem is in the meantime how does he isolate the shower water supply. he has had to turn the main off to stop the flow.

He has looked in the loft, for valves to isolate and around the cylinder in the cupboard on the landing with no joy.

Anyone help

Thanx

you need to trace the pipes back to where an accessible valve is (should be) fitted, if no valve or pipes are under floor/inside wall you will need to turn off at main remove valve and cap supply to allow water to be turned back on to the rest of the house
