No hope for you.

where was I not being honest ?How are your campaigns against death in Dafur and Sudan coming on?
I haven't seen you start any threads yet.
You weren't being honest, were you.

The BBC appear biased when they focus on a particular event that's newsworthy - or do you not agree the deliberate policy of witholding food aid to starving Palestinians is not a newsworthy event?where was I not being honest ?
I am no more interested in the deaths in Dafur (or any far flung war) than the average person. But what I am curious about is why does the media pick certain conflicts to focus on. If the likes of the BBC did not broadcast their biased content nearly continuously then the easily led like yourself would not become so obsessed - don't you see how you are being played?

Rather than simply accusing people of believing what you consider as propaganda and lecturing them that they are wrong, do you think that you could find it in your spaced out head a way of putting your views forward as an argument instead? The BBC appear biased when they focus on a particular event that's newsworthy - or do you not agree the deliberate policy of witholding food aid to starving Palestinians is not a newsworthy event?
They appear biased to you as the Israeli propaganda circus has convinced you of their 'right to defend themselves' while you conveniently forget Palestine, by that logic, also has the right.

I don't support Israel

Darfur
propaganda
It can be asserted we, the masses, are being played by much more than the media. And remember, with media, you can at least attempt to get your news from a variety of outletsdon't you see how you are being played, a very small pawn in someone else’s game.

Dogs are used by the British army in this way too John. I worked with dog handlers in Afghanistan, I can tell you now that the locals feared the dogs more than us, the dogs are specifically trained to do this work and are highly regarded soldiers in their own right. This is nothing new and dogs are deployed the world over. The problem with the dogs is that once they do their job they are difficult to control even for their handlers to get them off their victims often leaving severe wounds and in places such as Gaza infections will set in if untreated.A bunch of heavily armed Israeli gunmen in uniform forced their way into a Palestinian family home. While holding the rest of the family at gunpoint, they used their attack dog to savage a mentally handicapped disabled man as he sat on the sofa.
They did not allow the family to help him.
They then forced the family out of the house and ordered them not to return.
They left the disabled man to die.

a bit out of date now, but could this man have a pointIt is a good question. There are probably several factors. I have tried to Google a good answer on several occasions over the past two years. Two factors often get mentioned. There is something visceral about a siege. The idea of people having no escape. Think about the coverage of the siege of Sarajevo. And also a huge disparity in military strength. You have unarmed civilians being bombed by the world's most high tech military and their country being razed to the ground. Then you add in the historic fascination with this whole conflict and the religious importance of the area.
