Hello,

We've recently had the house rewired.

As you will see from the pics, we had mosaic tiles on the walls. Unfortunately we can't find a replacement for these tiles as they seem too have gone out of production.

I would like to use a different colour to fill the holes and the paint them all over.
My questions are:

1) what type of paint should I use to paint mosaic tiles?

2) you will see from the pic that the plasterers have used what looks like cement to patch the chases. Is there any way I can reduce the thickness as in parts they have applied too much and not got a flat finish?

3) what type of cement have the used to patch up the holes (just in case i need some too)?

Thanks

You can use normal tile paint with a tile primer,BUT I would never recommend tile paint to anyone.

Looks like filler from pic,all you can do is sand it off,if you do it by hand have plenty of tea and biscuits on hand to keep you energy levels high ;)
If you use a sander try to cover up everything as you will have endless amounts of dust.
