After enduring the agony of two penalty shootouts and an extra-time loss in semi-finals i was pleased to savour a game that England largely controlled: Sterling would've knocked the ball in if Kjaer hadn't got his body in the way and it was a penalty, regarless how soft it may appear - i thought Kane should've had a penalty near the end of normal time.
England deserved the victory and thoroughly earned the right to play Italy on sunday.
It's the game i was hoping for and can't wait to watch it. Get the beer in boys, it's gonna be a bumpy night.

The only downside for me is that I am taking Mrs Mottie and 9 friends out for a meal to celebrate her birthday on Sunday. Luckily I have the table booked for 5.00 and we are limited to 2 1/2 hours so it’ll be scoff up and all dash off home!
