It’s not fair, is it?

If Mottie cared about the homeless, he would not be supporting a free market libertarian like Farage…who would make poverty worse

No I was suggesting that we shouldn't, that ok with you?
That's fine by me, and I suspect most of all the others in this forum.
But it's like me saying we should provide more funding for education. It's a given, it's superfluous because it doesn't need suggesting. It already, very nearly, enjoys universal support.

But when something is suggested in ignorance, (and you don't seem to be aware of the help that already exists for veterans) it becomes not only superfluous, because it is suggested from a position of ignorance, your suggestion becomes laughable.
If I suggested it would be a good idea to provide a bin for recycling and one for other rubbish, I'd be laughed at because it already exists (except in Birmingham ).

Didn't ask for any info from you but whatever....

After you saying you would put illegal immigrants before homeless people its hard to reply to you.....

But I do....
The government already provides funding to assist homeless veterans through the Reducing Veteran Homelessness programme.
The government can and do uplift this funding regularly depending on need.
But none of it, not one penny is diverted to provide asylum seekers accommodation. The funding is allocated to Trusts that operate on behalf of the government and the homeless veterans.

The government also have a legal duty to provide accommodation to asylum seekers.
The government cannot avoid this legal duty. They can and do choose the level, location and duration of that accommodation.
This is delivered via private contractors.

So the funding is separate and distinct. It isn't about a choice between one or the other, they are funded separately.

And if homeless veterans need urgent assistance, I have already provided the help line, which you, and all the other misguided bigots, have significantly failed to do.

If you want to help the homeless veterans tell them what support is already available, and don't use them as pawns in your bigoted argument against asylum seekers.

Your comment deserves to be ignored due to your false and perfidious accusation.

Good point, you was due one....
Here's another:
Why don't you write to the Trust and raise your concerns that asylum seekers are given priority over homeless veterans.

Raising a concern

See if they deign to bother replying to your bigoted concern.

Well ignore my comments then, or put me on ignore....I dont have anyone on ignore so I wont be starting now.
I've never felt the need to put anyone on ignore I have the will power to choose which threads, and whose comments I read.
I certainly read bigoted comments like yours to see if they deserve a response.
Yours are often so bigoted and based on ignorance, your misguided comments frequently deserve a correction
