It's 03.37 a drunken Bean and an 80% lead. Love it.

Jubilant shouts of "We're free!" may prove to be premature. All through the centuries, human beings have proved to be impulsive and shortsighted in such matters.

I liken this situation to that of buying a replacement car. You need to look at the total "cost to change", not just, as I believe many have done wrt leaving the EU, the amount you have been offered on the trade-in.

Nope.

This vote was the most important vote of our lifetime. In fact, many lifetimes to come.
Will it end all our woes.??? NO. Course not.

What matters to me, is the knowledge that there are people out there that still care about this country and refuse to give it away.

........and I raise my glass to every one of them. (hic).

That same sentiment would be applied by Remainers if the result was to remain.

Time will obviously tell.

What worries me (amongst other things) is that if we leave the EEA, benefits like the EHIC card will disappear.

EHIC? show that (in Spain, as it recently happened), and they tell you to put it away, and show them your travel insurance.

Can we now start by kicking out some of the dangerous foreign criminals and terrorists who are only here because of the ECHR?

Then start on the dole bludging European parasites who get to live comfortably on the backs of British taxpayers?

OH HAPPY DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen: I LIKE THESE GLOATICONS :mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

The ECHR is nothing to do with the EU - sorry.

It just begins with the same eight letters.

Is that why you voted leave?

Hardly the only reason - there are dozens; to be free of an unelected, broken and corrupt institution that only serves those with there snouts in the trough. If we can now regain our fishing rights, dispense with stifling, unnecessary laws and rules, control immigration and keep potentially 80 million muslims out of The UK from new accession countries (plus the millions that Merkel let in) - well that's enough reasons to be going on with for me. There are many others.

I'm sure we'll be fine. Yes, there will be a period of transition and uncertainty. There's a big world out there, and tying ourselves into a failing Europe meant big benefits for others while ordinary Brits paid the price.

You're emigrating?
an unelected, broken and corrupt institution

You forgot to mention plumbers. You could of listed them between our Queen and the Lords :rolleyes::rolleyes:
