Ive caught a copper pipe should it be ok ?

Ive just caught a copper pipe thats going to be in accessible behind a kitchen cupboard, with a drill, its dented inwards, will it probably be ok ?

The alternative is using a pushfit joint to fix it.

Probably, if it isn't leaking now, but if it is going to be inaccessible I'd fix it.

I wouldn't us a pushfit either if inaccessible.

What would you rather do repair the damage now or repair the damage caused by leaving it and it springing a leak at night when you have fitted the kitchen cupboard and it leaking all night?

I know what I would do.....

Replace the damaged pipe. No point taking a risk .

Impossible to see any detail in the photo, because its so out of focus. If it is simply dented slightly, without any abrasion, it will be fine. Abraded or more seriously dented, it will need a repair sooner rather than later.
