You are making the mistake of thinking there is a rational argument behind trumpf's self interest. Following him is like belonging to a religious sect or supporting a football club. What he says is gospel. Europe's best hope is to raise a European army, rapidly expand its troops on the ground, and increase drone production. Chinna is probably looking to sneakily attack Taiwan while the world's attention is diverted.
