jaguar xk8

hi im new to this forum so not entirely sure how this particular one works so ill just come out with it
im looking at buying a jaguar xk8 not a new one proberly the 96 to 00 model the more curvey shape and i was just wondering what people thought about this car and if anyone had one and what they thought bout the car i.e maintenance running and such forth any opinions would be very much appretciated

perhaps a jaguar forum would be more help. i'm a jag fan and ex owner but the XK8 is not one that i would buy.....well not until the MK2 anyway, and that purchase is 15-20 years away.
