My lock has jammed in my UPVC door. How can I remove the door? The handle can now turn through 360 degrees and is not releasing the security catches....Has anyone got any ideas?

Firstly can you take the handle off?? have a look if the central spindle going thru the handle is spinning inside the handle, or is it turning inside the lock with nothing happening. let me know. If its turning inside the handle for any reason, you will be able to turn the spindle with a pair of grips and open the door, all you need is new handles.
More likely the mechanism is knackered and requires replacing. Call someone who specialises in opening and epairing UPVC doors - otherwise you'll end up damaging the surrounding UPVC.
