John Lewis integrated washing machine - loud rumbling

We have the above which is about 15 years old. It has recently started to sound quite loud - rumbling sound during the wash cycle.
Sounds normal when spinning.
Still washing everything very well.

I have checked the filter - clean.
No unusual sound when spinning the drum manually when empty.

Should I be worried.

Just thinking aloud... I assume that it rotates in both directions during the wash cycle and only spins in one. Is it possible that the sound occurs in the opposite direction only?

Seems to be rumbling while filling and washing but not spinning. Drum rotates freely in both directions. Could it be to do with heating the water.
Maybe will try on a cold wash and see.

Try a rinse/spin only and see what happens.
