John Lewis...

I know you did not mean that
I did mean it.
Your comment re "wear a badge" - what next, wear a badge because your religion, sexual orientation etc does not fit in etc etc?
No, because those things can't pass on infections unbeknowingly to innocent people that may give them long-time life-changing illnesses or even death.

Ok, thanks for being honest but I still vehemently disagree with you for reasons cited by me.
I have endeavoured to assist you.
End.

The flu one mutates every season so hence the requirements to re-vaccinate.
Just being pedantic, but one of the similarities between flu and Sars virus is that the 'reproduction process' is badly flawed.
So the flu virus, like Sars viruses badly replicate themselves.
So although there is sometimes a big difference from the one flu 'strain' to another, from one year to another, that mutation process has happened slowly over a period of time. So that after multiple replications they look like and are different strains. But it isn't dependent on any seasonal change.

I fully understand the arguments for and against 'badges' for vaccinated people, but the connotations of having to wear a badge are obvious.
How about something more meaningful, like vaccination passports to access certain areas?

have another jab, its no big deal it takes about an hour out of my day

Yes, but, don't you ever stop to consider:

a. How much it is costing the country?
b. How much wealth is accruing to drug companies?

Governments do get things wrong occasionally.

a. How much it is costing the country?
less than the economic damage of an unvaccinated population

b. How much wealth is accruing to drug companies?
so you are anti capitalist -are you a closet socialist?

pharmas havent made a lot compared to other capitalists

Jeff Bezos and the Walmart heirs have grown $116 billion richer during the pandemic

Only the unjabbed are afraid.
I'm not afraid...

But what is noticeable is all the jabbers refuse to answer a simple question...

"Will these people be boycotting all John Lewis stores and Waitrose?"

Why is that?

John Lewis aren't exactly in a stable financial position at the moment so they're clearly desperate for any customers they can get, however unpopular.
