Have an 8.5kw shower to replace, but the terminal block in the new shower is slightly further away from previous one, would I be able to join cable inside shower using crimps?. The cable is buried in wall and has no slack. By the way it is 6mm cable, many thanks, Rob

I don't know about other showers but Triton do an extension cable pack for some of their showers. It allows the installer to extend the incoming power cable by about 150mm which is often enough when the terminal block has been moved.

Properly terminated crimps will not be a problem so long as they do not foul any of the compnents inside.
