Hello,
I have an 11 yr old son who has come home with a design project to make a litter picker from wood.
Now the thing is his teacher told him to use a JOINTY JOINT ????
Has anyone ever heard of such a thing.

Many thanks for your help
Simon (a frustrated father of 2  )

Any joint could be called a joinery joint as opposed to just screwing or nailing 2 bits of wood together.
Knowing the shape of the item would help know what type of joint is needed.
Drawing the item then scanning it and putting the image here would help.

The only joint Ican think off that could be a jointy joint.Would be a basic finger joint with a dowel or pin thru it ,to allow the joint to pivot :)
