as far as I understand it all joints etc must be accessable, right?, and there is no mention of the same being disallowed in lofts/attics/ if there is I cant find it, this is a remark made by a contractor, I alway when possible try to avoid any joins at all, but this guy brings every thing into switch back boxes and terminates earths, neutrals, in strips I was always taught the only wires you need in a switch back box are the funtional IE supply/ switched live and earths (if not metal boxes) and neutrals should be terminated in a JB as near to the switch dropper as in convienient how he got the switch plate on one with 4 T&E and a 3 core I will never know any thoughts ?
