Remember that the men who founded the European movement had just lived through the greatest war the world had ever seen. The older ones had also lived through the second greatest war the world had ever seen. Nothing was more important to them than preventing a recurrence, and so the EU is based on co-operation between democratic developed countries which would draw them together.

And to promote stability in Europe, NATO has been most successful.
The EU on the other hand is promoting the rise of the far right by flooding EU countries with an alien culture whilst at the same time trying to manoeuvrer the member states into building an EU Army by poking the Russian Bear through Ukraine and then claiming the need for an army due to Russian aggression.. Churchill was right, the open sea for us.

I see the polls including yougov put Brexit 6 or 7 % ahead now. Looking good.
The purpose of NATO was to inconvenience and delay the Red Army if it moved westwards by force. Not at all the same as building a co-operative collection of friendly democratic nations, which is the purpose of the European movement.

Be part of an organisation that hasn't had its books signed of by accounts in 20 years ! remainers must be bonkers.
The euro will die and people will rush to invest in the £, may be some dip at first then the herd instinct will kick in when the euro starts to wobble and people will invest in sterling.
Why anyone would want to stay in when Greece Spain and others will be asking for another bailout beggars belief.
The EU owes 20 billion in unpaid bills some idiots want to be part if that!
But it not about money .....can our parliament be overuled by the EU ...yes.
Can our courts be overuled by the EU yes.
It's about choosing our own destiny.....we don't like our politicians we can vote them out ......not so with the EU.
Oh and they want to unify the tax system and tax individuals in the member states.

Really? So how come there was peace in Europe before the EU was created?... Nothing to do with several hundred thousand heavily armoured troops stationed there was it?
