Can anyone please help me. What should I be paying (as cheap as possible) to get Kardean fitted to a simple, flat concrete floor. It measures 20 square metres.
you get what you pay for! You pay peanuts then you cant expect the flooring to fit very well or last more than a couple months. To have done properly expect some where between 10-20 quid a meter depending on who is doing it and where you are in the country. Flooring materials will be extra.
not sure about Kardean but I can tell you how much I paid for having Amtico fitted (guess the installation is probably the same)
Bathroom 1, about 2 square metres - £150 (minimum charge)
Bathroom 2, about 2 square metres - £150 (minimum charge)
Downstairs hallway, cloak room and study, (think it took about 8 packs) - £250
Both bathrooms on wooden floor so price included all ply etc.
Downstairs on concrete floors and included screeding floors first. Took about two half days to complete. First day, the screed was laid, then another half day or so to fit the Amtico (probably about 8 hours all done)
Sorry to bring up an old thread. I'm currently looking into the cost of this for my Kitchen & hallway (approx 22sqm).
I was quoted £200 for the latex, and £300 for fitting. The cost of the tiles were OK (£125 compared to £95 off an internet retailer). I'm contemplating doing this myself.
Are they any karndean fitters in the Portsmouth Area?
