Keeping laminate offcuts and unused bits

Is it worth keeping hold of unused bits of laminate after you have finished fitting a floor ?

I can see the benefit of keeping solid boards as it can be used to sand, fill and repair but not laminate.

just chuck it under the plinth in the kitchen or under the bath or on top off the kitchen units
