Perhaps the sentence should read - "...we (all) live in a world where stupidity is listened to, intelligence is ignored and education is outdated." - for the kind of people who follow the herd and misconstrue a statement simple enough to understand, but it really is implied anyway, so i'll assume you deliberately misconstrue what it says.
You seemed to take it personally: why is that?
I do not run with the herd or have a herd mentality, so when I read 'we' I assume that I am included and therefore have the right to reject it. It really is that simple. As for your assumptions, what you assume is up to you and also up to me to reject. English (written & spoken) is not my 1st language, so perhaps your statement(s) should take into account that this forum is not solely aimed at the English.
