Israel has a history of doing deals with dictatorships,so it's not surprising that they share common interests.
I very much doubt you could find a majority of Israeli people willing to condone the actions of the current leadership.That's not something that's up for debate, that's a fact my old Paddystinian chum.

Just because people have a less than a 100% support for Israel doesn't make them Hamas or Palestinian supporters.
