Is anyone familiar with a Kelly's K5 tent? We've got one we bought in about 1995 and we've only used it once, pitched by my daughter.

There are four sets of colour coded poles, but I can't make complete sense out of them - whatever I do, there is one piece left, and there seem to be four ends for the ridge pole.

Any help gratefully received - many thanks.

Usually a short rear pole, high front pole , ridge pole with end eye's, two short poles to form doorway and maybe yours has a short ridge [with eye's] across door poles?

Thanks for that. There are four separate end pieces of ridge pole, not a short double-ended one, and, whatever I try, there is a double-female tube left over.

I will try pitching it one day next week - busy until then.

Are you sure they are ends, some poles will have hole near the end so when erected they offer a hanging option inside the tent for lamp etc.?

Hi there, maybe I can help. I have a Kelly K5 tent
You should have 4 ridge poles, & one that fits along the top
The shortest pole goes at the back of the tent, & the longest at the front inside the inner.
These are held together by the long connecting pole
And the last two are for the awning on the flysheet

Hope this helps, I'll try and get some photos of building mine when the weather gets better

Thanks, I still could do with the info. I never did get it sorted out last year, so perhaps this summer?
