Hi

Family member snapped a key in the cylinder lock. Any idea how I can get this sorted?

Depends if you can twist / tap the keyhole back to the normal position you might get away with superglueing (only a spot or it will not set) the head of the key on and very gently pull it out.

what other ways are there otherwise - is it easy to remove the lock and replace it?

Euro locks are pretty easy to remove, if you cant get the stub out, you can either bump it (basically a hard tap with a hammer) or knock a thin bladed screwdriver into the lock and twist / bend to sanp it, or you could drill it out. All those methods are obviously destructive so have a new lock to fit handy.

Just helped neighbour with same situation, used needle nose pliers [open pilers using tip top and bottom of key] to turn key to unlocked position then key pulled free easily, it will not come out in any other position, tip of a panel pin can be used to move it out enough to grab with pliers. Is all fails and you can remove lock you can drill into top directly above key and push it out from above [2.5mm -3mm bit required.]

If the key is fully engaged in the lock you should still be able to turn the cylinder (flat screw driver blade), in which case turn just remove the retaining bolt (cross head screw in the frame - can't tell exactly which one from your pictures, but it will be directly in-line with the bottom portion of the euro cylinder) and then pull/tap the cylinder out. You'll need to turn the lock approx 1/4 turn off center to get the cam out the lock cutout.

If it won't turn you've got two options, try and pull it out using glue or something sticky OR carefully push it in until it fully engages and the cylinder turns. Depends how much of the key is in there as to what you should do.

EDIT - just noticed from your picture the key side is horizontal suggesting the cyclinder is already turnable. So you can easily get it out the door frame, this will give you better chance to work on getting the key out. Or simply replace it for ~£5. Remember to measure the lock depth from edge to center on the internal and external sides to ensure the new one fits correctly.
