Kitchen cupboard LED strips run from mains circuit

Hi,
Is it OK for an LED driver that runs under kitchen cupboard lighting to be powered from a fused spur off a kitchen power socket (ring circuit) or does it have to run on the lighting circuit?

Yes. Just put a 3a fuse in the FCU.
