Hi A kitchen extension was built by the previous owners of my house. After pulling out the kitchen to reovate I found that the original gully for the downstairs bathroom is still in use (now on the inside wall of the kitchen). What are my options can I find a way to cap the gully? Or do I have to dig up the drain and replace the gully with a capped bend. there is 32mm and 40mm waste pipes emptying into it?
Any advise please

I would have thought you would be able to fabricate a cap pretty easily, And cannot think why you shouldn't
