Kitchen monobloc mixer tap dripping

Hi I have a dripping Cooke and Lewis (B&Q) mixer tap, quarter turn taps, but can't find any way to get inside.
Online help talks about little screws to access the cartridges but there is only one screw behind the base of the spout, and releasing it seems to have no effect on dismantling anything. There is definitely nothing visible on the hot and cold levers to release them, no removable caps, no concealed screws. Any ideas on how to fix the drip?

Post a pic of your tap there are many variants. You will almost certainly have to replace the ceramic 1/4 turn valve and there are dozens of different variants/ sizes / spline combinations. You will need to match yours exactly.

if there is no fixing screw on the tap handle,then its held on by a captive plastic spline arrangement and needs a really good tug to pull of the handle.

Sometimes Getting a cartridge out can be bothersome,they are fitted on a production line and often over tightened and liquid thread seal is often used.

oh right, so they just pull off then? wouldn't have dared to try that without your advice, for fear of damage...I'll give it a go, many thanks.

If the handle levers are like plain rods, they may unscrew to reveal a grub screw beneath.

Hi, apologies for posting on an old thread. Did you manage to work out how to get into the tap at all? We have the same tap and can’t work it out. Can’t find any screws etc. Thanks
