Hi All

This is probably a stupid question but...

I am about to buy and fit some new kitchen pelmets and cornices but the height needs to be no more than 35mm for the cornice. Everywhere I look online I see dimensions (e.g. 55mm x 35mm) but there is no indication as to whether these refer to the depth or the height.

It looks like my current pelmets/cornices are designed to fit either way round (you can choose to have 55mm or 35mm height), so I just wondered if this is the case for all of them?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, before I go ahead and order something that won't fit. :)

Regards

Terry

Thanks Gregers. Managed to find a company online (HPP) that does dual purpose ones in just the right size. A lot of money for a piece of plastic coated MDF though!

but of course it is,you want it so it aint goner be cheap.

always wondered if you could make some out of ogee architrave or something very similar.

I made mine out of some cheaper pine architrave painted to match the doors. Looks ok.

I did have to run one edge of it along the router table with a 45 degree cutter to get it to overhang at the top though - just having it upright doesn't look right.
