Kitchen Sink Gurgles When Washing Machine Drains

Hi,

Not a major issue but when the WM drains theres a gurgle that comes from the kitchen sink, it can just get a bit annoying.

I have attached a picture of the current pipework, with the WM and dishwasher sharing the sink waste, was just wondering if there was anything inexpensive i can do/change to try and get rid of the noise?

For starters the hoses from the applicances should form an inverted U before connecting onto the waste spigots... ie they should enter the unit up high at the back and come down onto the spigots.

The only way to ensure no gurgling would be to have a separate standpipe for the appliances but that means reworking the waste drainage pipework.
