I have a kitchen sink waste pipe to run. The pipe exits the sink the runs externally for about 3 meters to a gulley they will be 2 elbows outside and a 45 to the gulley would you advise pushfit waste or solvent weld for this?
Thanks it elbows as it exits the wall then elbows again after about a meter. Sure the best way of glueing this as it will be tight the second elbow is up against the external corner of the house. I'll try draw a picture
Id solvent both sides of the elbow going through the wall first then would be tight to get the second elbow on the that piece. I'd have to put it together dry mark the position on the below and pipe with the angle correct. Then remove elbow and lift the pipe up pull it all out of place to glue the right hand side of that elbow?
Thanks so to do the one going through how would I do this as I wouldn't have room to get the elbow on if the one in the internal corner is all glued? Or I don't think I'd have room anyway
Glue up the red bit first, before fitting, a piece of pipe with 2 bends on it at either end. Then glue it all to the bit coming out of the wall, then fit the rest of the pipe to the gulley.
