Kitchen Ventilation

Need to fit a kitchen 6" fan, but need to duct it 5 meters through an extension ceiling. Anyone know where to get 6" ducting ? or a suitible fan powerful enough..............

They only seem do the flexible stuff - suppose that would be ok but as its such a long run thought rigid would be better

Use 6" soil or underground drainage pipe.

been using 100mm soil pipe for ducting through walls for 4" fans, dodn't know why I didn't think of 160mm for 6"

screwfix do a vent system. Its rectangular in section and joins fairly easily, comes with various adaptors etc. Ive just used a 6 metre run of it to vent out a tumble dryer. Works well and easy to install
