I recently bought a new flat and underneith the sink there is a panel of 3 sockets and 3 plugs going to washing machine dishwasher and waste disposal. Is this legal? I thought you needed spurred fused wall plugs

13A sockets are fine as long as you can access them as a means of local isolation. I'd question whether installing them under the sink is a great idea.

Its likely OK, but it depends how they are wired. If they are part of the ring, its fine.

And its definitely legal, as electrical regs are not protected by any laws. The building regs, however, are. You aint gonna get locked up for having any dodgy wiring in your house.
