I have had a new shed delivered today and because it was the budget option there are a few small holes where the knots in the wood were.

There are only 5 or 6 on the whole shed but a couple of them are around the size of a 10p piece so I could really do with filling them in to stop rain etc coming through.
Can anyone recommend what is best to use to plug them up? I've thought about some wood filler but my experience of it is it would be difficult to apply in the places I need it due to the size of the holes!

Any advice is appreciated.......

Cheers,

glue small squares of timber over the holes (on the inside, if it would be seen)?

Did you ever sort this one out Steve? Got a similar problem and wondered if what you'd done had worked for this length of time.

I don't think you'll get an answer from the original poster, he hasn't made a post for almost 2 1/2 years  , but if it's any help the idea to glue pads on the inside is a sound one. If it forms a water trap then fill in the hole with mastic after the pad is fixed.
