I want to buy some new doors for my house. Doors seem to be much cheaper if you buy knotty pine ones. I am going to be painting these doors with gloss paint anyway so does it matter if they are knotty?

The may see the knots more of you gloss them...knots are flatter and smoother than the rest of the wood...therefore they will stand out more.
Id go for an eggsheel finish to help counteract this.
But whatever you use.....dont forget to treat em with knoting first.
