Labour took a £9 million donation from a foreign source Mr Chakrit Sakunkrit

One solution to the problem of corruption in political party funding would be to ban private donations to political parties.

The state should fund political parties, MPs are already funded by the state.
If these parties were depending on the people for financing instead of foreigners with lots of cash, then for once, they might act in the interest of the people.

Here is some electoral interference...Labour is systematically cancelling elections that Reform is likely to win...

Nothing to do with Labour government.

Poor Splice listens to some twit on YouTube and doesn’t check the facts……no wonder these people are easy prey for Farage populism.

Here are the facts: it’s local authorities deciding to delay elections because of reorganisation, if they were held this year, they would then need to be held next year too…….costing tax payers money

Don’t be uninformed like SPLINEless

poor Charlie, oh dear.

If Charlie knew the facts he would know the reorganisation of local authorities was in Labour manifesto and was in their Kings speech on 17th of July.

If Charlie was being honest he would know that the delaying elections is decided by local authorities not central governent and delays are simply to avoid an election next year and following year.

PS why has Charlie chosen Find Out Now poll, it’s an outlier, most latest polls show Reform only between 7% and 10% ahead.

Poor Reform supporters like Charlie are getting very anxious

Find Out Now voting intention polling performed well relative to other pollsters (in the 2024 GE). Although we didn’t over-estimate Labour, we had too few Conservative voters and too many Reform voters in our surveys.

Towards the end of the week we get the regular Find Out Now poll which has a tendency to get Reform supporters excited but as Sam Freedman notes this is down to their methodology and sampling and like him I am not convinced.

If you have a wildly unrepresentative sample then the chances are the end product will be utter bobbins.

Just the latest poll Notchy, only 10% ahead :giggle: a few weeks ago you claimed Labour was catching, what happened?
Using the last 10 polls combined Reform leads by 10% with Lab 3rd or 4th in some

I didn’t say Labour was catching.

I said Reform lead was slipping, which it is

If Reform are so confident of winning why is Farage so desperate to do a deal with Conservatives 3+ years from an election.

Using the last 10 polls combined Reform leads by 10%
So why did you post the Find out now poll which is an outlier?

If you ignore the outliers vast majority of polls has Reform between 7% and 10% ahead of Labour.

That’s not enough for a win, the next election will result in a hung parliament and it could be either a Tory / Reform Coalition or one comprising mixture of centre and left parties.

There is a growing motivation in tactical voting to keep Reform out……decent people don’t want populist lying racist ****s in power, esp small c Conservatives.

Personally I’m happy if Reform win, the result would be a hilarious disaster and it might push people towards social change and or political reform.

If you want to support the Reform idiots, enjoy.
