Hello
they layed a B&Q laminated floor continuously through all rooms and hallway in my house without leaving much expansion gap - all rooms are ok but I am getting a lot of bulking in the hallway (16m long )
I have been using a Chisel for small parts and
I was thinking to use a grinder with a cutting blade to make a gap where it seems to be needed - anyone knows of a more appropriate tool I could use?
(the underfloor is 9mm play layed over timber suspended floor)

Thank you

Do you have expansion threshold strips in the doors of the hallway?

You should do.

Install expansion strips in these areas and it should dramatically improve your issues.

The Fein MultiTool and Bosch equivalent ( something 180 I believe) are sold as being very suitable for this type of work.
